About Miko
The person behind the camera
I picked up my first camera while studying in Kyoto, and never really put it down. What started as a way to remember small, ordinary days turned into a way of really looking — at light, at gesture, at the moments people don't think to pose for.
These days I split my time between portrait sessions, weddings, and editorial work for brands who care about how a story feels, not just how it looks.
Most of what I know, I learned by being in the room — watching how people relax, when to step back, and when a single frame is worth waiting for.

Countries photographed in
I believe the best photographs happen when people forget the camera is there.
Natural light, always
Sessions are planned around the light, not a studio flash — the city or the season does most of the work.
Genuine over posed
Less directing, more noticing. The best frames usually happen in between the planned ones.
Unobtrusive editing
A light touch in post — true to the moment and the actual color of the day it happened.
